Shopping madness in FORUM

Today me and my friends- fabulous gingerNaya and awesome Mary went shopping. But it wasn't a normal, weekly shopping- it was: SHOWROOM.PL x KRAKÓW OFFLINE SALE.
SHWRM is a website gathering many great young Polish designers like Lana Nguyen. We were really lucky to meet her in person. GingerNaya even bought a T-shirt with a print: 'stressed. depressed. but well dressed' designed by her!
I managed to buy a baseball jacket from NinetyEight Clothing ;)
I'm really happy but I regret one thing- that I couldn't make an interview with all those designers. I'm sure they'd have a lot of interesting things to say... Maybe next year I'll have the opportunity to do that.

Anyway, the event took place in a very interesting and controversial place- FORUM Przestrzenie. It was a hotel till 2002 when the foundations started getting wet. In 2010 the car park and shops in the basement were flooded. Yep. Right now the main function of the building is being the longest billboard in Poland. In its parts where the water hasn't come yet and the ceiling hasn't fallen down, You can sit and relax while having a tea, coffee, lemonade, whatever. It's enough to say that the atmosphere is really cosmopolitan and artistic at the same time :)

Prague (Czech Republic)

And now a few words about Prague. I have to admit: I've never seen so many tourists in one place. It was really hard to hear someone speaking czech - most of the time it was english or spanish, sometimes german too. I think Prague has a wonderful atmosphere, altough it's hard to discover it while trying to push one's way on crowded streets and trying not to get lost in the centre. That's why I recommend to visit the city centre in the evening or even at night. The rest of Prague is not so crowded even in rush hours :-) It's better to wait and make a trip when there's not a lot of people around. Then, you can take a seat in a small cafe or traditional pub (they are quite loud, though) and really take time to get to know it.

Edinburgh (Scotland)

Here are some photos of one of the most magical places I'have visited in my life. It's a place full of oppositions: old and classic architecture is contrasted by these amazing wild parts of the city which looks like they were taken from a fairy tale.... And also I have never met so many friendly people in one city. In my opinion the best part of the year to visit Edinburgh is August because it's the time when Fringe Festival starts. If you never heard of it, you can check it out here: https://www.edfringe.com/ Altough the weather is very moody even in summer (taking un umbrella or a raincoat is one of the most important things while packing your suitcase for a trip anywhere in Scotland) it's totally worth it. Hope you enjoy! :-)

In colours...

Quotes #1

What do Oprah Winfrey, Steve Jobs, Jane Austen, Walt Disney and Matt Damon have in common? First of all, they made a huge career and are known worldwide. Secondly, the followed their dreams and that's why I admire them so much. Spend less than a minute on reading those inspiring quotes and snother minute on conteplating your favorite one. Some old, boring etc. people say that our generation can't focus on longer articles and is getting-- STUPID (!) Let's prove them that they're wrong!

Every rose has its thorn (?)

Poison 'Every Rose Has Its Thorn'

We both lie silently still in the dead of the night
Although we both lie close together
We feel miles apart inside
Was it somethin' I said or somethin' I did
Did my words not come out right
Tho' I tried not to hurt you
Tho' I tried
But I guess that's why they say

Every rose has it's thorn
Just like every night has its dawn
Just like every cowboy sings a sad, sad song
Every rose has its thorn

Yea it does

I listen to your favorite song playin' on the radio
Hear the DJ say love's a game of
Easy come and easy go
But I wonder does he know
Has it ever felt like this
And I know that you'd be here right now
If I could have let you know somehow I guess

Every rose has its thorn
Just like every night has its dawn
Just like every cowboy sings a sad, sad song
Every rose has it's thorn

Though it's been a while now
I can still feel so much pain
Like the knife that cuts you
The wound heals, but the scar, that scar remains

Every rose has it's thorn
Just like every night has its dawn
Just like every cowboy sings a sad, sad song
Every rose has its thorn

So I hear you've found somebody new
And that I never meant that much to you
To hear that tears me up inside
And to see you cuts me like a knife, I guess

Every rose has it's thorn
Just like every night has its dawn
Just like every cowboy sings a sad, sad song
Every rose has its thorn

Discovering Małopolska (Little Poland)

The term 'Little Poland' refers to the polish communities in Baltimore, Brooklyn (NY) as well as Chicago and Philadelphia. However, it's also the name of a region in southern Poland:
